Christmas at Elliscombe House

The magic of Christmas doesn't wane the older you get, in fact, here at Elliscombe House, we embrace new memories made - every step of the way.

As the smell of mince pies fill the air, our Head Chef, Ben - who has managed several professional kitchens - took to the lounge to make Christmas cake with our residents and Activities Assistant, Sharon.

They went to every room to make sure everyone had a chance to have a stir and make a wish.

With the first winter frosts descending upon Somerset, we are all feeling very festive here; there were some very lovely elves who visited to help us decorate the Christmas tree...

We are always delighted to welcome family members to join us and participate in all our activities. One resident and her daughter, who have been with us for almost a year, reminisced about visiting Elliscombe for the first time and seeing the Christmas tree in all its splendour in the Orangery.

Our nursing home is a vibrant and positive place for visitors over the festive period and you are always welcome to visit your loved one - and staff love to see you too!
